A feast of Trad music for the opening night of The Saltire Festival 2017.


A fantastic concert experienced under the wings of Concorde at the Museum of Flight.

Massed Pipes and Drums give the concert a stunning start followed by stars of Scotland's Trad music scene, Barluath and Breabach. 

Winners of Folk Band of the Year and Album of Year at the 2016 Scots Trad Music Awards and this year nominated Best Group at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, Breabach are recognised the world over as one of the UK’s most dynamic and exciting bands on the world and roots music scene.

The Saltire Festival is an annual celebration of St. Andrew’s Day, bringing together the very best of Scotland in the Home of the Flag. The Festival takes place throughout East Lothian, taking in the stunning beaches, rolling countryside and pristine towns and villages of East Lothian.
