Virtuoso students from St Mary’s Music School play Bach, Henze and Piazzolla.

With the Pianos @ One series you have the option to enjoy soup and sandwich at noon followed by a delightful concert featuring great composers such as Scarlatti, Schumann, Mozart and Chopin. Hear some of the stars of the future playing truly beautiful music.

The story is set on the isolated Scottish island of Todday, in the Outer Hebrides, where gloom sets in as the wartime rationing of whisky runs out. When a cargo ship carrying whisky runs aground, the shrewd islanders run rings around the buffoonish Home Guard commander (Eddie Izzard) and conspire to hide away cases of the precious amber nectar...
