Captivate Theatre: Sweeney Todd

27 Apr 2018

Captivate Theatre is thrilled to bring Sondheim's Sweeney Todd to The Brunton after its successful 5 star run at the 2017 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Barbaric barber Todd and his pie making accomplice Mrs Lovett come up with an unusually grotesque business plan in this dark and chilling musical. With a Victorian London setting, black humour, an exciting score and genius lyrics, this show is to die for. Sweeney Todd features some of Stephen Sondheim's best-loved songs including: The Ballad of Sweeney Todd, The Worst Pies in London, Johanna, By the Sea and Not While I'm Around.
