Date: 2nd Dec 2017

Location: Venue 1

Time: 19:30 - 21:30

SOLD OUT. One of Scotland’s most prolific and instantly recognisable voices with a remarkable career.

Eddi Reader

She topped the charts with Fairground Attraction in the 1980s – with their debut single, Perfect, and album, First of a Million Kisses, won three BRIT Awards, and is much heralded for her reworking of the songs of Robert Burns and subsequent solo albums.

Eddi’s most recent releases - Vagabond, in 2014, and 2016's double disc Best Of compilation, spanning her 30 year career - have both attracted widespread critical acclaim, as do her live shows.

From the traditional to the contemporary, Eddi brings joyous life to all forms of song. Her rare blend of meltingly true vocals and towering romanticism combine with an astute and pragmatic nature to make her a unique and powerful figure in contemporary British music.

"Eddi Reader is one of my favourite singers of all time." Jools Holland

Eddi Reader will be supported by Dan Whitehouse.
