The Theatre and Venue 1 have steeply raked seating with a flat stage and clear sight lines. Our Box Office staff are on hand to help you choose the most suitable seats for you.  

Parking

Access

  • Ramped access into theatre foyer
  • Lift access to Venue 1 & 2
  • 3 wheelchair spaces plus 3 escort seats with lift access in the Theatre, 4 wheelchair spaces plus 4 escort seats in Venue 1. No fixed seating in Venue 2.
  • Theatre: Several rows accessed via lift with no, or minimal stairs to encounter on east access side.
  • Audio description and BSL interpretation for selected performances.

Access Scottish Theatre

Access Scottish Theatre is the easiest and most comprehensive listings guide for all of Scotland's accessible theatre performances. This means all performances that have Audio Description, BSL interpretation and Captioning, and can also include relaxed performances for audiences with dementia or autism.

Access Scottish Theatre produces a printed guide which is published twice a year in January and September - there are normally copies available in the theatre foyer.

In addition you can subscribe to the monthly AST e-bulletin which outlines all the upcoming accessible performances for the next two months. The e-bulletin is sent on the first of every month. Register for the e-bulletin at the AST website.  

In 2015 there were: 106 Audio Described performances, 102 BSL interpreted performances and 75 Captioned performances across Scotland.
