A special RSNO lunchtime concert
When the RSNO comes to play, everyone is welcome! In this special lunchtime concert, join presenter Gillian Moore as she introduces young and old alike to the wonders of classical music with Scotland’s National Orchestra.
Event Description
Classical music is like time travel – transporting emotions across the centuries so they can touch our hearts right here and right now. Presenter Gillian Moore introduces a lunchtime-sized adventure in space and time with the RSNO and conductor-composer Lera Auerbach. Experience some of the most powerful (and playful) sounds of the 18th century – as well as Auerbach’s own, 21st century homage to the age of Haydn. 256 years in less than an hour!
