Brunton Theatre Trust is committed to return to a future home in Musselburgh. For now the team are providing arts and entertainment at alternative venues in Musselburgh and the Corn Exchange in Haddington.
Until Brunton Theatre Trust has a new home venue in Musselburgh, you will find the friendly Brunton staff at alternative venues in Haddington and Musselburgh, delivering The Brunton's programme.
In September 2023, Brunton Theatre Trust took on the lease for the Corn Exchange in Haddington. This is the largest space in East Lothian available for hosting an audience of more than 200 people, for our programme.
In order to meet the requirements of the Licensing Board, we have successfully applied for a Premises License for our bar at this venue.
We are committed to returning to our home in Musselburgh when a new Brunton Theatre is built there. Until that time we will continue to present work and engage with East Lothian communities at alternative venues, in Musselburgh, the Corn Exchange in Haddington and other locations across the County. This will ensure that a thriving Brunton Theatre Trust is able to return to a new home venue in Musselburgh, in the future.
The Trust is dedicated to bringing the very best theatre, music, dance, comedy, children’s shows, screenings, entertainment and participatory activities to East Lothian, sharing this with as many people as possible.
