Join award-winning composer and pianist of Nigerian-Filipino heritage Adam Heron for his classical concert at Northesk Church. Our concerts are open and accessible to everyone, if you can’t make it for lunch, you are welcome to book for the concert only.
Award-winning composer and pianist of Nigerian-Filipino heritage Adam Heron, is the 2020 titleholder of the Royal Academy of Music’s prestigious Harriet Cohen Bach Award. Born in Hong Kong, he achieved international recognition following his 2018 television debut as a BBC Young Musician piano finalist.
Through his unique artistry, coupled with a flair for communication, Heron is a leading ambassador for Black classical musicians. He marks his debut at The Brunton with an exquisite solo recital blending original compositions with cherished classics from the piano repertoire.
Our lunchtime recitals include established and emerging, prizewinning performers with sparkling programmes of music, specially selected for you to enjoy. Relax at lunchtime in the beautiful North Esk Parish Church, Musselburgh.
A light lunch of soup and a sandwich is served in the Church Hall adjacent to the church. Our concerts are open and accessible to everyone, if you can’t make it for lunch, you are welcome to book for the concert only.
