Join this Scotland-based piano trio for their jazz and tango influenced concert of classical music.
Our concerts are open and accessible to everyone, if you can’t make it for lunch, you are welcome to book for the concert only.

Beyond Classical

Join this Scotland-based piano trio for their jazz and tango influenced concert of classical music, including Café Music by Paul Schoenfield, selections of Mendelssohn’s Piano trio No. 1, music by Astor Piazzolla, and more. 

The trio is made up of violinist Lizzie Gange who hails from the US, Slovak-American cellist Rebekah Woodier, and South Korean pianist Sinae Sung. 
They formed at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland over four years ago and have since performed across Scotland in a variety of concert and community settings including Usher Hall, Aberdeen Concert Hall, Lanark Memorial Hall, the National Galleries of Scotland, and the Burrell Collection.

Our lunchtime recitals include established and emerging, high calibre performers with sparkling programmes of music, specially selected for you to enjoy. Relax at lunchtime in the beautiful North Esk Parish Church, Musselburgh. 
A light lunch of soup and a sandwich is served in the Church Hall adjacent to the church.

Venue & Accessibility

This event will be held at Northesk Parish Church, North Bridge Street, Musselburgh EH21 6AG. 

  • Seating is unallocated.
  • Interval refreshments are served in the church hall, adjacent to the church.
  • There are 2 steps into the church with a ramp that can be placed over the steps.
  • There are level access toilets inside the church hall, accessed by going out of the church and into the adjoining hall.
  • Spaces for wheelchairs are at the side, front of the church.
  • Accessible parking is across the road, with designated parking bays on Ladywell Way.
  • Gracefield car park is behind The Brunton and there is also a car park on Ladywell Way.
