Battle Of The Bands | Workshops

ELJam's annual Battle of the Bands competition is always great entertainment for all the family. There is a lot going on again this year including a new open mic event, and some fantastic FREE taster workshops for young people interested in trying out the expressive arts. We have vocal coaching in the morning and dance and drama in the afternoon, provided by the Brunton Performing Arts Network.

Everyone is welcome - whether just starting out or already have some experience! Workshops are free, but spaces are limited, so please book in advance. Click the links to book.

Vocal Coaching, S1 - S6: 10:00am to 10:45am

Join us for a dynamic session exploring the essentials of great singing and vocal performance. Perfect for beginners and experienced singers alike!

Introduction to drama, ages 5 to 7 years: 12:15pm to 1:00pm

Introduction to drama, ages 8 to 12 years: 1:00pm to 2:00pm

Dance taster, ages 5 to 7 years: 2:15pm to 3:00pm

Dance taster, ages 8 to 13 years: 3:15pm to 4:15pm

Learn a short dance routine after warm-up games. Please wear trainers, no sandals/flipflops.

Our classes are designed to help young people grow in self-expression, teamwork, and confidence, while making new friends and discovering the magic of performance.

Led by Brunton Performing Arts Network and ELJam's experienced theatre professionals, our tutors create engaging and supportive sessions that are perfect for all ages.
