Follow the yellow brick road to MUSSELBURGH and HADDINGTON for a magical, musical panto adventure for all ages. Produced by The Brunton, written by Jack Nurse and Robbie Jack (Wonder Fools) - the team behind 2024's panto hit - A Christmas Carol. 

Event Description

Join Dorothy and a whole host of familiar faces on a whirlwind journey bursting with chart-topping pop hits, toe-tapping original tunes, shout-out loud silliness and plenty of local laughs. Expect flying monkeys, fabulous frocks and more sparkle than a Tin Man's tin foil hat!

With festive fun, hilarious characters and heart-warming moments in every scene, this much-loved story gets the full-on panto makeover - with a few surprise twists along the way. 

Starring a brilliant professional cast alongside a talented chorus of local young performers, this is the ultimate Christmas treat for all ages.

ACCESSIBLE PERFORMANCES

  • BSL interpretation – Thu 11 Dec 7pm with Shaurna Dickson and Nicolle Murdoch. The optimum area for viewing BSL interpretation will be in the middle.
  • Audio description – to be confirmed. Audio description users are welcome to attend a touch tour, prior to the performance. To register your interest please email boxoffice@eastlothian.gov.uk 
  • **Relaxed performance – Sat 27 Dec 1pm all tickets £20. This is an inclusive performance for people requiring additional support and their families. There is a relaxed attitude to noise and movement and some small changes are made to the light and sound effects.

This event will be held at Corn Exchange, Court Street, Haddington EH41 3DS.

  • The Corn Exchange has recently been refurbished and we have added a technical infrastructure for the stage, sound and lighting especially for live performances.

  • You can choose your seat for this event.

  • Seats are on one level, with a raised stage.

  • A selection of interval refreshments are available, and the town has several restaurants and bars.

  • Located on Court Street, the main road through Haddington, there is free parking at the rear of the building.

  • Access into the building is level, with accessible toilets inside.

This event will be held at Loretto Theatre Millhill, Musselburgh EH21 7RG.

  • You can choose your seats at this venue.

  • The entrance gate to Loretto School Theatre is opposite the turnstiles for Musselburgh Racecourse. Do not use the post code for the main school as that will take you to a different street.

  • There are 3 steps into the grounds of the school. Alternatively, we can arrange for you to enter through a different gate with level access and car drop off at the door.

  • Ramped entrance to the theatre itself, with spaces for wheelchairs at the front of the auditorium.

  • A level access toilet is adjacent to the theatre.

  • Free on street parking, with small, free car parks a short walk away at Kerr’s Wynd or at the top of Millhill by the river.
