Dougie Maclean, Scotland's finest singer-songwriter is internationally renowned for his song Caledonia, music for Last of the Mohicans and inspired performances.

Event Description

Having achieved his 50th year as a professional musician in 2024, Dougie MacLean's popularity is still growing, as his weekly broadcasts, begun in March 2020 from his Old Schoolhouse (renamed a Global Streaming Theatre), have reached over 4 million viewers in 80 different countries!

He has received two prestigious Tartan Clef Awards, a place in the Scottish Music Hall of Fame, a Lifetime Achievement Award from BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, an Honorary Doctorate and an OBE!

Venue & Accessibility

This event will be held at Corn Exchange, Court Street, Haddington EH41 3DS.

  • The Corn Exchange has recently been refurbished and we have added a technical infrastructure for the stage, sound and lighting especially for live performances.

  • You can choose your seat for this event.

  • Seats are on one level, with a raised stage.

  • A selection of interval refreshments are available, and the town has several restaurants and bars.

  • Located on Court Street, the main road through Haddington, there is free parking at the rear of the building.

  • Access into the building is level, with accessible toilets inside.
