Bite-Sized Concert: Grace Stewart Skinner

Join Grace Stewart-Skinner for an intimate acoustic performance where she will share some of her favourite Traditional tunes, alongside her own compositions.

Event desription

Grace Stewart-Skinner is a Highland grown clàrsach (Scottish harp) player and composer who has been surrounded by Traditional Scottish music her whole life. She enjoys experimenting with the clàrsach by incorporating a myriad of effects and techniques to create mesmeric soundscapes and melodies. Grace’s knowledge and sensitivity to the tradition shines through her practice, resulting in Trad compositions with a contemporary twist.


Join her for an intimate acoustic performance in which Grace will share some of her favourite Traditional tunes, alongside her own compositions.

This event will be held at Northesk Parish Church, North Bridge Street, Musselburgh EH21 6AG. 

  • Seating is unallocated.
  • There are 2 steps into the church with a ramp that can be placed over the steps.
  • There are level access toilets inside the church hall, accessed by going out of the church and into the adjoining hall.
  • Spaces for wheelchairs are at the side, front of the church.
  • Accessible parking is across the road, with designated parking bays on Ladywell Way.
  • Gracefield car park is behind The Brunton and there is also a car park on Ladywell Way.
  • Buses stop close by. Musselburgh is served by Lothian and East Coast buses.
